Dalai lama visit to TCV School (Year-2023)

HH, the Dalai lama made his blissful visit to Tibetan Children's Village, Choglamsar, Ladakh on Wednesday, the 26th of July  2023.  While addressing the students, staff, and the crowd of over 5000 members of the Tibetan community in Ladakh, His Holiness emphasizes the importance and necessity of studying, preservation, and promotion of Tibetan language and literature. His Holiness stressed that " Tibetan language is important because it is the utmost accurate medium for explaining Buddhist philosophical ideas. We are now developing vocabulary to discuss modern science.  It will surely help us to enrich our understanding and encourage our young children to keep updated. "His Holiness urges all the young and old Tibetans to pay serious attention to learning  Buddhist philosophical ideas. Studying and engaging in our master's philosophical ideas is utmost important.  We must retrospect and study Buddhist teaching in ways that allow us to rely on them to achieve mental peace and lasting happiness.
