Learning Different Strategies to Write Tibetan Sentences

This year, the Tibetan Department has chosen a crucial topic for teacher professional development. The focus is on learning different strategies to write Tibetan sentences and finding the easiest ways to teach them to students.

Analysis on Student’s Reading Standard

This year after having thorough discussions on 2023 TPD topic,wefinally placed the priority on reading, and we have decided to analyse student’s reading standard.

Application of ICT on mathematics’ teaching and learning process

Each members of our department have been preparing latest question banks for class X on revised syllabus using ICT. Each teacher was allowed 2 or 3 chapter and most of them have compiled the question and soon the question bank will be uploaded.

To Study Tibetan Terminology

The social science teachers convene to discuss various topics as part of the TPD (Teacher Professional Development) program on every 3rd day during the 3rd period. The topic for this year’s TPD is to study Tibetan terminology of Class VI social textbook in Tibetan medium.

TPD Topics:

1. To upgrade digital teaching portfolio by using wixsite.
2. To  conduct lesson study on topic, light (class VII science)

Every day one, during the 4th period, all the science teachers meets to discuss as this was the only common free period available for the TPD program. Each period has duration of 45-50 minutes. For first three months ( March to May), we have worked on upgradation of the digital teaching portfolio. For next three months, we are working on another TPD topic that is lesson study on topic, LIGHT from class VII Science.
