Today, the 12th of July,2025 on Saturday, TCV Ladakh is truly blessed to have the sacred honour of welcoming His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, our guiding light, our hope, and the very essence of our being.

Our hearts are filled with immense joy and gratitude as we welcome His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the land of Ladakh, shortly after the global celebration of his 90th birthday.

It is a moment of pure grace and pride for all of us, students, staff, and the larger community.

His presence fills the air with peace, wisdom, and boundless compassion.

The 49th Founding Anniversary and 43rd inter house athletic meet of our school celebrated on 12th September 2024. The morning ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the chief guest Mr.Tashi Namgyal Yakzi (executive councillor for Tibetan affairs), guest of honour CRO Mr. Dhundup Tashi . We were also honored to have our beloved retired staff and school sponsors amidst us to witness this spectacular event of our village school.

Congratulations to all the position holders and subject toppers of our school in the CBSE exams! Your hard work and dedication have paid off splendidly. Keep shining bright! 🎉👏

TCV Ladakh school closing ceremony for the session 2023 celebrated today on 8th of December 2023. The closing function was attended by important dignitaries of the sonamling settlement, parents, staff, and the students.
School Principal ,Director, and the Junior section HeadMaster shared their thoughts on the occasion; highlighting the importance of using holiday time sensibly and expressed satisfaction for the academic session that went well. Suggested that we all stakeholders should rejoice and feel good !!!

The children’s day 2023 was celebrated with a brief introduction on the occasion followed by distribution of appreciation certificate to this year prefect and honoured them with a white scarf by our school Director Gen Rabten la. Our new school prefect takes an oath from our Buddhist Philosophy teacher Ven Dakpa Khedup la and were felicitated as a new prefect with a white scarf. Our school SEE Learning team awarded our prefect Tsering Palden la with the special certificate of appreciation for being an outstanding and exemplary student of the year. The most awaited event of the day was the fantastic cultural dance performance by the staff and teachers of our school.
