TCV Ladakh school closing ceremony for the session 2023 celebrated today on 8th of December 2023. The closing function was attended by important dignitaries of the sonamling settlement, parents, staff, and the students.
School Principal ,Director, and the Junior section HeadMaster shared their thoughts on the occasion; highlighting the importance of using holiday time sensibly and expressed satisfaction for the academic session that went well. Suggested that we all stakeholders should rejoice and feel good !!!
The Chief Guest, Mr. Dhondup Tashi (CRO) honored the staff who completed their 30 years and 25 years of dedicated service with an appreciation certificate and a scroll / statue acknowledging their
long-standing commitment to the school. These special awards were presented by DOE (CTA) Dharamsala.
A significant milestone indeed!!
One of the most important events of the day was the scarf ceremony for our class X (outgoing)students. They were honored and farewell lunch on given just after the formal function.
Those staff members who took extra responsibility for the academic sessions were also presented a token of appreciation.

The children’s day 2023 was celebrated with a brief introduction on the occasion followed by distribution of appreciation certificate to this year prefect and honoured them with a white scarf by our school Director Gen Rabten la. Our new school prefect takes an oath from our Buddhist Philosophy teacher Ven Dakpa Khedup la and were felicitated as a new prefect with a white scarf. Our school SEE Learning team awarded our prefect Tsering Palden la with the special certificate of appreciation for being an outstanding and exemplary student of the year. The most awaited event of the day was the fantastic cultural dance performance by the staff and teachers of our school.
We hope our students had enjoyed the children’s day program and wishes all of them a very happy children's day once again!

On Saturday, 21st October 2023, TCV Ladakh celebrated Tibet Our County Day. Month - long project (TOCP) declared its closure on 21st October. The day begins with offering a grand sangsol at the senior basket court.

Following up, the main program commenced with the selected few presentations from the branch schools and all the sections of the main school. Guests, students, staff, and the parents enjoyed to the fullest.

Next in the row for the day is the Ramp Walk in the stunning and gorgeous traditional attire is the showstopper and not just a model walking down the ramp but a pride within representing one's own culture.

The program is a showcase for up-and-coming young generations to value, honor and preserve one's own ancestral traditional heritage.

Today at 9:00 am our school commemorated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Gandhi Jayanti, on such an eminent day, many students made their efforts to take part in the event under the led by our school Hindi Madam Chering Dolma la.
Speech delivered by Mr. Sonam Yungdung and Tashi Namgyal la currently reading in class seven. Followed by class six & seven, eight and Nine girls presented dances and group songs.

All the students and staff marched for the campus cleaning before disperse from the school compound.

Today on 30th of September 2023, Saturday, team 13 Bn NDRF(National Disaster Responsive Force ) and UTDRF unit Ladakh jointly displayed disaster management drill or demonstration in our school TCV Ladakh. Emergency preparedness drills are conducted to educate students and staff on how to respond effectively in the event of various disasters, such as earthquakes and fires.

The 48th Founding Anniversary of our school was celebrated on September 12, 2023, alongside the 42nd inter-house athletic meet.
