The 49th Founding Anniversary and 43rd inter house athletic meet of our school celebrated on 12th September 2024. The morning ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the chief guest Mr.Tashi Namgyal Yakzi (executive councillor for Tibetan affairs), guest of honour CRO Mr. Dhundup Tashi . We were also honored to have our beloved retired staff and school sponsors amidst us to witness this spectacular event of our village school.
Furthermore, the presence of our ex-students, the Class of 1999 made this occasion even more special as they celebrated their reunion at their alma mater.
The athletic meet aimed to encourage maximum participation, encompassing students from Montessori to Class 10. Thanks to the dedication of our school's Games Committee, Physical Instructors, House Masters, Class Teachers and all staff of TCV Ladakh, our students enthusiastically participated in various activities, including athletics, calisthenics, song and dance performances, and kids' game competitions, all the while demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship.
The inter-house athletic meet featured four houses: Nyatri, Songtsen, Trisong, and Triral. We are pleased to announce that this year's winner of the 43rd inter-house athletic meet is Nyatri House. Our school’s eventful school anniversary concluded cheerfully with a declaration of 43rd athletic meet closure by our guest of honour CRO Sonamling settlement Mr Dhundup Tashi.
